Prominent 1, LLC is a full service audio and visual production company, based in Chicago, Illinois. We specialize in artist development, music and motion picture production. We also cater to the commercial marketing, gaming and merchandising industries. Prominent 1, LLC (P1) was established in 2007. It is the venture of two well established production companies:
1. DeVon Lynch IV established Prominent 1 Studios, a sole proprietorship in 2003. The company provided production, editing and graphic services for a diverse customer base in Central Illinois.
2. Byron John Lynch established By Jon Publishing (BJP) and Lynch Products & Productions (LPP), sole proprietorships in 1993. The companies have published produced and released many music projects into the market place.
Both companies joined together to form Prominent 1, LLC
Prominent 1 creates music and motion picture products for major domestic and international distribution. We have staff writers, producers, musicians which work in our state-of-the-art music studios to develop artists and deliver market ready productions. In the motion pictures department we have staff writers, producers, directors and editors. From writing and pre-visualization, to production and post, we have all of the necessary means to complete any demanding project.
Prominent 1 has embraced High Definition (HD) technology before it was popular. We are leaders in HD production techniques. Our HD shooting format and unique workflow provides us with a high quality to cost ratio. The equipment budget required for shooting digital is 1/10th for that of film, significantly lowering the budget for features, without compromising quality.
